What do AI visibility agency guarantees for dentists actually promise?

Each agency's guarantee in the same columns, quoted from its own pages. Citevio is an AI visibility agency and one of the nine offers compared; its row is its own offer.

No agency controls what ChatGPT says. Of nine offers read on 28 October 2026, three tie money to a measured result: KKV Labs refunds fees unless the practice is top 3 for 3 of 5 questions by day 90; KailxLabs waives its management fee until traffic grows 30%; Citevio invoices setup only after one agreed question meets its naming threshold.

The three promises measure different things. KKV Labs counts top-3 recommendations on ChatGPT or Google AI Mode for 3 of 5 agreed questions by day 90. KailxLabs counts organic and AI search traffic, 30% more in 90 days, for clients it accepts as qualified. Citevio counts naming rather than rank: its terms say A question counts when the answer text names your practice in at least two of the three runs on either engine. At least one of five agreed patient questions must count. Each question is run three times on ChatGPT and three times on Perplexity on day 1 and day 45, signed out with chat history off; the practice receives every raw answer. A lower bar is easier to pass, and only KKV Labs offers money back.

Which AI visibility agencies guarantee results, and what does each promise?

Three of the nine attach a remedy to a measured result, one refunds the first month on request, and five make no result promise. The table puts each published offer in the same columns; an empty cell means the agency's page did not say.

Agencies' own pages, read 28 October 2026. KailxLabs and Izotov are general AI visibility agencies, not dental-only. Algomizer is not listed: its site showed no offer text that could be read on 28 October 2026. Citevio's row is its own offer.

What is the difference between a refund, free work and a delayed setup fee?

They differ in what you get back if the target is missed. A refund returns money: KKV Labs says The refund is every fee you paid up to day 90, and the work stays yours, or the client can choose free work instead. Free work returns nothing already paid but stops future fees: KailxLabs says continued management with no management fee is its only remedy. Citevio does not charge setup with the first payment; section 8 states: We invoice it only after your practice has been named in AI answers to at least one of five agreed patient questions, measured as set out below. If no question counts on day 45, it keeps working and stops charging the monthly fee from the next billing date. It repeats the measurement on each billing date; after the first measurement in which a question counts, monthly billing resumes on that billing date and setup is invoiced. On an annual plan, each month worked without charging is added to the end of the paid year. This condition does not refund months already paid. If the practice cancels before the condition is met, setup is never invoiced and everything built stays with the practice. KKV Labs sets the higher bar, top 3 in 3 of 5 questions, and is the only one of the three with a cash refund.

What loopholes should you look for in an AI visibility guarantee?

Look for the conditions, because they decide whether the promise applies to you. US advertising guidance already expects them to be visible: the FTC's guides say an advertisement that mentions a satisfaction guarantee or a similar representation should disclose, with such clarity and prominence as will be noticed and understood by prospective purchasers, any material limitations or conditions. Six conditions do most of the work.

  1. Who chooses the questions. Easy questions are easy to pass. KKV Labs agrees 5 questions in writing at kickoff; Citevio proposes patient questions, the practice approves them, and Citevio runs them. The five with no naming in any run are locked, and the practice receives the list in writing that day. That is day 1; if Citevio has not locked the list within 30 days of the first payment for a reason on its side, day 1 is that 30th day.
  2. What counts as a pass. "Top 3", "named" and "30% more traffic" are different tests. Ask for the exact rule in the contract.
  3. Which engines count. A promise on ChatGPT and Google AI Mode says nothing about Perplexity or Gemini, and the reverse.
  4. How often each question is run. The same question can name a practice in one run and not the next, so a single run proves little.
  5. Who qualifies. KKV Labs asks clients to Pass the free winnability check, keep the site live, give access to the Google Business Profile and send its review kit to at least 10 past customers. KailxLabs requires access in week one and that approvals are not blocked on your side. If access Citevio requested has not been provided, day 45 and any later measurement date move back by the length of the delay; Citevio notifies the practice in writing.
  6. What you keep and what you get back. Money back, fees paused or a fee never charged leave you in different places if the target is missed.

Why do some agencies refuse to guarantee AI recommendations?

Because no agency controls what the engines answer, and several say so in plain words. Elvora's page lists, under what it can't do: Guarantee ChatGPT or Google’s AI will name you: the engines decide, not us. Izotov writes Nobody can guarantee citations in AI answers, so I don't promise them, and commits instead to the scope of the plan and a monthly report. Titan Web Agency notes that appearing in an AI answer doesn’t guarantee a new patient. KKV Labs, which does offer a guarantee, says We cannot control ChatGPT. We control which markets we take. A guarantee and a refusal can both be honest; the difference is whether a measured remedy is written into the contract.

How do prices and contract terms compare?

Monthly prices in this group run from $490 to $9,999 and up, and minimum terms run from none to 90 days followed by 12-month renewals. The plans cover different work, so the table compares terms, not value.

Agencies' own pages, read 28 October 2026. Titan Web Agency and Harris & Ward did not publish prices on the pages read. DentalScapes includes a new website in its setup fee.

How were these offers read and compared?

On 28 October 2026 we downloaded each agency's pricing, guarantee, terms or AI service page and quoted sentences from the page text, not from a summary. The agencies are those named in AI answers to dental agency questions in Citevio's October 2026 measurements, plus Citevio. Algomizer's site loads its offer with JavaScript and showed no offer text we could read, so it is left out. Titan Web Agency's and Harris & Ward's /pricing addresses returned "not found". Seller pages state what the seller promises; we did not test whether any agency meets its promise. Citevio's billing condition is in Citevio terms, section 8. Our method for AI answers is described in how we measure AI visibility.

We wrote this page for dental practice owners comparing agency guarantees, so they can read each promise in the same terms before they sign. Citevio is one of the agencies compared.

Common questions

Can an agency guarantee that ChatGPT will recommend my dental practice?

No agency controls what ChatGPT answers. Some agencies attach a remedy to a measured result instead, such as a refund, free work or a fee that is not charged until the result appears. Read what is measured and what you get back.

Which AI visibility agency offers a money-back guarantee?

Of the nine offers read on 28 October 2026, KKV Labs offers every fee paid up to day 90 back if a practice is not recommended in the top 3 for 3 of 5 agreed questions on ChatGPT or Google AI Mode. Studio Smirk refunds the first month's fee, minus what it paid other companies for the practice, if the practice asks on a short call within 30 days of starting; there is no result condition, and it applies once per practice.

What does Citevio's guarantee cover?

Citevio's guarantee is a billing condition: setup is not charged with the first payment and is invoiced only after at least one of five agreed patient questions names the practice in at least two of three runs on either ChatGPT or Perplexity. The locked questions must have no naming in any initial run; checks are signed out with chat history off. If no question counts on day 45, work continues without a monthly fee from the next billing date. Checks repeat on each billing date; billing resumes and setup is invoiced on the first billing-date check that passes. Requested access delays move day 45 and later measurement dates back, with written notice. Cancelling before the condition is met means setup is never invoiced.

Is free work as good as a refund?

It depends on whether you still want the agency. Free work keeps the agency working at no fee until the target is met; a refund returns money you already paid. KailxLabs offers only free work, KKV Labs lets the client choose either, and Citevio defers setup invoicing and pauses monthly fees from the next billing date if its day-45 test fails; paid months are not refunded under that condition.

What should I ask before signing an AI visibility guarantee?

Ask who picks the questions, what counts as a pass, which engines count, how many runs each question gets, who qualifies, and what you get back if the target is missed. Ask for each answer to be in the written contract.
