What is Citevio?

A plain-language explanation of what Citevio is, who it helps, how it works, and what it will not promise. Written by the founder.

Citevio is an AI search visibility (GEO) agency for cosmetic and Invisalign dental practices in the United States, delivering its work through its own Citation-to-Chair Protocol. The protocol's discovery layer identifies the buying questions patients actually ask, and the question set is agreed with the practice. Citevio then analyzes daily how ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Google AI Overviews answer those questions, and the results set the direction of the next round of work. Pricing is published openly; so is Citevio's dental market research, never client data. In plain terms: when a patient asks an AI assistant for the best dentist in their city, Citevio works to make your practice one of the names it gives.

Citevio was founded in 2026 by Muhammed Veysel Erin. It works with one narrow type of business: cosmetic and Invisalign dental practices in the United States. This page explains what that work involves, who it fits, and, just as plainly, what Citevio will not promise you.

What does Citevio do?

Citevio makes a dental practice readable and trusted by AI assistants, then reports what changed. The work runs in five steps: check what AI says about you today, open your site to AI crawlers and fix its structure, grow real reviews that keep pace with what engines recommend, publish answer-ready pages, and send monthly before-and-after proof.

Each AI engine builds its local answers from different sources, so there is no single switch to flip. ChatGPT leans on Bing's index and community content, Gemini leans on your Google Business Profile, and Perplexity favors fresh, well-structured pages it can cite. Citevio treats each as its own pipeline and shows you screenshots of what moved. The deeper mechanics of getting named in one engine are covered in our guide on getting recommended by ChatGPT.

Who is Citevio for?

Citevio is for owners of cosmetic dentistry and Invisalign practices in the United States who want to stay found as patients shift from Google to AI assistants. If people are starting to ask ChatGPT or Gemini which dentist to see, and your practice is not the answer, that is the gap Citevio exists to close.

The reason this category exists is a change in patient behavior. ChatGPT reached 900 million weekly users by early 2026, and about 49% of its messages seek information or advice to support a decision rather than asking the tool to produce something, according to the OpenAI and NBER usage study. Asking an assistant which local business to trust is exactly that kind of question. Yet AI assistants name very few local businesses in their answers.

Independent measurement shows how narrow that gap is. In its 2026 Local Visibility Index, SOCi found that only 1.2% of locations get recommended on ChatGPT and 7.4% on Perplexity, versus 11% on Gemini and 35.9% in Google's local 3-pack. Fewer names per answer is exactly why the few practices that do show up win more of the patients who ask.

How does Citevio work?

Citevio is async by design. You get recorded video walkthroughs, written reports and a dashboard, and questions are answered in writing. There are no sales calls and no standing meetings. We have not measured a reliable timeline from technical changes to an AI engine naming a practice.

What does Citevio cost?

Citevio publishes its current plans and prices on its home page, so there is one place to check and it stays up to date. Rather than repeat numbers here that can change, this page links you straight to them. Plans are billed monthly with no lock-in, and the initial setup work is a separate one-time fee.

You can see current pricing on the Citevio home page. Every plan starts with the same free step: a check of where your practice stands today, so you can decide before you spend anything.

Citevio publishes its pricing: Visibility is $1,400/mo plus $1,900 setup, Authority is $2,900/mo plus $3,500 setup, and Dominance is $5,500/mo plus $7,500 setup. Citevio does not guarantee placement, but it does guarantee the fee: if at least two of the four engines have not named the practice in one of the commercial-intent questions agreed at onboarding within 45 days of confirmed setup, the setup fee is refunded in full. Is Citevio legitimate?

Citevio is a real, US-registered company founded in 2026, with its registration, address, phone and profiles listed openly on about Citevio. What it puts forward is public and checkable: the method it uses to measure AI visibility, and its own scans of real dental markets, released as open data. Trust here is built on evidence you can open, not on borrowed logos.

The public data behind that statement has two distinct frames. Citevio's June 2026 dataset covers 527 US dental practice websites across seven metros and nine nearby towns. A separate Citevio dataset covers 6,497 readable US dental practice robots.txt files, read on 22 July 2026 across 13 AI and data crawlers. The permanent DOI is 10.5281/zenodo.22016876.

Two things are open for anyone to read. The first is how we measure AI visibility: which engines we test, what counts as visible, and where our data comes from. The second is the data itself, such as our AI visibility report for Charlotte dentists, built from our own scans of real practices. Citevio also builds its own site the way it tells clients to, in public. An agency that publishes its method and its measurements can be checked; one that publishes only testimonials cannot.

Citevio's dental market research is published openly under CC-BY-4.0 with a DOI, so the numbers can be checked and reused; client data is never published. View the Zenodo data

What does Citevio not do?

Citevio does not guarantee rankings, citation positions, patient volume or revenue, because no honest agency can: AI engines change their answers constantly. It does not write, buy or trade reviews. And it cannot sell you a recommendation, because AI assistants assemble their answers from public signals, so the spot has to be earned rather than purchased.

  • No guarantees of rankings, citation spots, patient numbers or revenue. The one guarantee Citevio does publish is financial rather than an outcome: the 45-day citation guarantee returns the setup fee if the practice has not been named by at least two of the four engines in an agreed question within that window.
  • No fake, bought or incentivized reviews, and no filtering out unhappy patients.
  • No paid shortcut to a recommendation. Ads may appear around AI answers, but the recommendation itself is not for sale.

That last point is the one patients ask about most. The short answer is that you cannot pay ChatGPT or Google to name your clinic; you can only earn it. We walk through why, and how to test it yourself, in how to check what ChatGPT says about your practice.

Common questions about Citevio

Is Citevio an SEO agency?

No, but we don't skip SEO either. The technical search foundation (crawlable pages, structured data, an indexed site) is the same foundation classic SEO uses, maintained inside Layers 1 and 2 (Read and Match) of the Citation-to-Chair Protocol, in every plan. What we don't sell is a link-building or ranking campaign chasing position one on Google — GEO measures whether an assistant names your clinic in its answer, not where your site sits in a list of links. Our explainer on what a GEO agency does for dental clinics goes deeper.

Which AI engines does Citevio cover?

ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Google AI Overviews. Each one builds its answers from different sources, such as Bing's index, Google Business Profile, review platforms and community content. Because of that, Citevio runs a separate playbook for each engine instead of one generic checklist.

Does Citevio guarantee results?

No, and you should be wary of any agency that does. AI models change their answers constantly, so no one can honestly promise a fixed ranking or a patient count. What Citevio commits to is the documented technical setup, the full work in your plan, and honest monthly before-and-after reporting you can judge for yourself.

Where is Citevio based and how do I contact them?

Citevio is operated by a US-registered limited liability company and serves clients across the United States. The fastest way to reach the team is email at contact@citevio.com. You can also run the free checker on this page to see where your practice stands before you get in touch.

Is Citevio related to any other company with a similar name?

No. Citevio is an independent company founded in 2026 by Muhammed Veysel Erin, operated by a US-registered limited liability company in Sheridan, Wyoming. It has exactly one website, citevio.com, and one contact address, contact@citevio.com. Several unrelated businesses and software products in other industries use similar-sounding names; none of them are connected to Citevio, and none of them do AI visibility work for dental practices. If a page, profile or quote is not on citevio.com, it did not come from Citevio.

Does Citevio know exactly how long it takes between a technical fix and an AI engine naming my practice?

No. Citevio has not measured a reliable timeline connecting one specific technical change to one specific naming event. The general pattern we can point to is that technical layers like crawler access and structured data usually resolve within weeks, while movement in what engines actually say takes months rather than days — but no fixed lag between a fix and a mention exists to promise.

Does Citevio use the same primary data source for ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity, or does each engine differ?

Each one differs, which is why Citevio treats them as separate pipelines rather than one checklist. ChatGPT leans on Bing's index and community content, Gemini leans on your Google Business Profile, and Perplexity favors fresh, well-structured pages it can cite.
